Donald J. Beach, 63, Marshfield, died on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at William S. Middleton Memorial Hospital, Madison. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 604 S. Chestnut Av., Marshfield, with Rev. Chris Schwanz officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday from 10:00 am until service time. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion at the church following the service. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Donald was born on November 25, 1949 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, to Paul and Loreen (King) Beach. He was united in marriage to Ilamae Johnson on February 2, 1974. Don was a veteran of the United States Army and the National Guard. He worked as an engineering draftsman for Trane Company in La Crosse for over 35 years and was blessed to retire at age 54. Don was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and volunteered at the Humane Society and the House of the Dove. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and his pets. He is survived by his wife, Ilamae, 2 children and a granddaughter, Lynette (Matthew) Gray of Chili and Eric (Jenna) Beach and their daughter, Ella of Marshfield. He is also survived by a sister, Diane (Thomas) Loyas of St. Louis Park, MN, a brother, Dennis (Kris) Beach of Plymouth, WI and his twin brother, Dudley Beach of Spring Brook, WI.
