Dolores was born on August 27, 1925 in Stratford to Joseph and Mary (Schneider) Beyel, where she attended St. Josephs Catholic Church and school. She met the love of her life, George Draeger at a dance in Rozellville. They were married on November 28, 1946 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Stratford and celebrated sixty five years of marriage. Initially living on the family farm in Edgar, they moved to Marshfield in 1960 where they operated their dairy farm and raised 4 Ð… dozen children. Thats right, four daughters and a half dozen sons. Their dynasty includes thirty six grandchildren and thirty five and Ð… great grandchildren. "Grandma Draeger' was known for her many years of volunteer work for Wood County Head Start (15 years) and the Marshfield Care Center. (20 years) She loved children and spoiled approximately 1000 children along the way. Grandma is forever remembered and loved by her husband, George and children, Ronald (Marcia) Draeger of Spencer, Georgene (Gene) Donnerbauer, Rudy (Louann) Draeger, Randy (Sharon) Draeger, Deacon Ray (Jo Ann) Draeger, Roger (Carrie) Draeger, Russ (Marsha) Draeger, Gerri (Mike) LeGrand, Gayle (Gerry) Peterson and Grace (Tom) Herkert, all of Marshfield. In eternity she will join her parents, Joe and Mary Beyel, her brothers, Alfred and Isadore Beyel, sisters, Rena Pulchinski, Laurie Andejewski, Evelyn Pettinger, Pauline (Leichey) Boltoch, Dorothy Staadt and Jeanne Fischer and a grandson, Jonathon Draeger. Dolores was Gods servant until the very end and although she loved flowers would prefer her legacy live on in her parish family. Memorials may be dedicated to Corpus Christi Parish. The Draeger family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to all Moms neighbors, friends and caregivers at the Marshfield Care Center who blessed her on her journey.
