Obituary

Diane L. Kramer, 69, Pittsville, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at her home in the Town of Wood. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Crossroads Church, Pittsville, with Rev. David Bratlie officiating. Burial will take place in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Wood County, and the honor of pallbearer goes to her "special" grandsons, Dylan, Dryden, Dawson, Daryn, Drew and Dayton Luther. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, and from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at Crossroads Church. Diane was born on July 31, 1948 in Marshfield, to Leon H. and Beulah (Morrison) Snider. She attended Rocky Run school in the Town of Cary and was a 1966 graduate of Pittsville High School. After her education, she was employed at Marshfield Canning Company, Figi's and Felker Brothers Manufacturing. She completed a computer course in St. Louis, MO and then became employed at Bank Account in Rudolph. She was united in marriage to Donald H. Kramer on August 23, 1980 in Pittsville. He died on July 14, 2001. After their marriage, the Kramers owned and operated a family business, Kramer's Lawn Ornaments and Gift Shop. As a child, Diane was involved in Pioneer Girls and was a 4-H member. As an adult, she was a member of the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce Business After Five, the Wisconsin Rapids Elks Club and the Pittsville Lions. She enjoyed volunteering at Pittsville Elementary School, trips to the casino, bowling, playing bingo, and especially never missing a chance to spend time with her grandsons. Diane is survived by a son, Dominic (Sijia Liu) Kramer of San Francisco, CA, a sister, Joann (Deane) Mathews of Pittsville and a brother, James Snider (Jane Bergman) of Wisconsin Rapids and her 6 special grandsons. She is also survived by a special friend, Jim, and many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Don, a son Donovan, and a sister Lois Noth.
