Diane M. Doescher, 77, Chili, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home where the family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 pm until service time. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Diane was born on August 9, 1943 in Dorchester to Earl and Birdelia (Underwood) Schultz and was a 1961 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Marvin L. Doescher on May 4, 1963 in Marshfield. Diane was a devoted wife and mother and worked seasonally at Figi's in Marshfield. She loved baking and cooking, especially at Christmas! She enjoyed gardening, playing cards like Sheepshead and Shanghai and any other game you wanted to play, especially Scrabble and Yahtzee, puzzle books, jigsaw puzzles, camping, sitting around a fire, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Marvin and their children, Kevin (Shirley) Doescher, Dan Doescher, Darrell (Julie) Doescher, Kurt Doescher and Stacy (Shawn) O'Donnell. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is further survived by sisters, Gail (Dave) Butler, Janice (Richard) Harriman, Paula (Mike) Rottscheit, Patti (Scott) Martin, and brothers, Terry (Renee) Schultz, Ed (Karen) Gadke, Mark (Paula) Gadke and Myron (Julie) Gadke, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, stepparents, son Steven, brothers Roger and Bruce Schultz, sister LuAnn Schulz, brothers-in-law Clay and Douglas Doescher, Milton Boyer and Gerald Greene and sister-in-law, Marlene Kadinger. A memorial in Diane's name will be designated at a later date.
