Dennis D. Schulhauser, 97, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Three Oaks Health Service, Marshfield.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield where military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 54, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Dennis was born on February 9, 1927 in Marshfield to William and Sophia (Scheel) Schulhauser. He graduated from Marshfield High School and served in the United State Army from 1945 - 1947. Dennis was united in marriage to Patricia Dumas in 1948.

He worked at GTE telephone company as a foreman until his retirement in 1989. He also served as an alderman in Marshfield and as a Wood County board supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, son Jim Schulhauser, daughter Julie (Glen) Weigel, grandchildren James Specht & Elise Schulhauser, great granddaughters, Dakota and Lyllie Specht, and many nieces and nephews.

He was known for saying "finer than frogs hair" with a big smile.
