Obituary

Rembs Funeral Home Marshfield, WI 715 387-1242 Delphine A. Hansen, 91 of Marshfield died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 under the Ministry Home Hospice Care program. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. St. John's Funeral Choir will provide the music along with Suzanne Golden as the organist. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with her grandsons as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Rembs Funeral Home and again on Friday at the church from 9:30am until service time. There will be a Parish and PCCW rosary service on Thursday 4pm at Rembs Funeral Home followed by VFW Auxiliary memorial service at 5:45pm. Delphine was born on September 12, 1922 in Bakerville to William and Catherine (Tremmel) Bell. She was united in marriage to Charles P. Hansen on June 2, 1942 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville. He died on March 9, 2003. Delphine worked in the bakery at Festival Foods for over 20 years before she retired. She enjoyed polka dancing, bowling, and did volunteer work at St. Joseph's Hospital and at St. John's Church. Delphine is survived by her children, Marjorie Hansen of Marshfield, Donna (Dave) Anderson of Milan, MI, Patricia Maderich of White Bear Lake, MN, Jo Ann (Ed) Ausbourne of Spencer, Mary (Bob) Bliesener of Sun Prairie, Carla (Dennis) Dyhr of Greendale, Judy (Bill) Wiegand of Champaign, IL and Jim (Therese) Hansen of Oregon, WI; son-in-law Ross Gubka of Nucla, CO; 16 grandchildren, Samantha Gubka, Keith Anderson, Jake Maderich, Jessica Gunnufson, Sarah Hesbol, Kathy Grove, Joe Bliesener, Chris Dyhr, Tom Dyhr, Joel Dyhr, Brittany Wiegand, Abby Wiegand , Christine Hansen, Karen Hansen, Connie Hansen, Caroline Hansen; 4 great grandchildren, Emma Gunnufson, Kaitlynn Cooper, Mason Cooper, Hayden Novak-Dyhr. She is further survived by a brother Raymond (Colleen) Bell of Lindsey, a sister Lorraine Pichler from Marshfield, 2 sisters-in-law Muriel Bell and Elaine Bell of Marshfield. Besides her parents and husband Charles, she was predeceased by a daughter Barbara Gubka, granddaughter Kelly Anderson, son-in-law Michael Maderich; 4 brothers, Zeno, Norbert, Melvin and Lloyd Bell, 2 sisters, Lilas Feirer and Ruth Dix. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for St. John's Altar Restoration Fund. Thank you to Ministry Home Care, and especially to the Hospice Nurses.
