Delores I. Patrie, 78, of Marshfield, formerly of Wausau died Thursday, April 30th at the House of the Dove Hospice in Marshfield under the care of Compassus Hospice.

Per her wishes there will be no formal services.

Delores was born August 26, 1947 in Merrill, WI to Raymond and Viola (Schulz) Wendt. She attended schools in Wausau, and in 1965 she graduated from Wausau Senior High. Delores was united in marriage to the Late Robert J. Patrie August 4, 1979 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. He sadly passed in 2020. Together they lived in the Wausau area and raised two daughters. During this time she worked as a CNA at various local nursing homes and assisted living facilities, in particular Wausau Manor and Our House. Delores loved being around her family and she is remembered best for her passion for good cooking and fine baking.

Delores is survived by her daughters Jackie and Jalayne Patrie of Marshfield and eight grandchildren: Blaze, Alex, Vinny, Maya, Ava, Adeline, Rayla, and Xavier. She is further survived by two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Raymond and Viola Wendt, her in-laws Harold and Adeline Patrie, and her close cousin and dear friend Elaine Baumann.

The family would like to thank the staff at the House of the Dove for the kindness and living care they gave Delores during her stay.
