Obituary

Delores M. Linzmeier, 95, received her eternal reward suddenly on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her home in the Town of Sherry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Kilian's Catholic Church, Blenker, with Rev. Murali Anand Rayappan officiating. The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes.Burial will be in the parish cemetery and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City and from 9:30 am until service time on Saturday at St. Kilian's Church. A Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be at 7:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Delores was born on December 25, 1926 in Rosholt to Henry and Lillian (Kruzicki) Schroedel, Sr. She attended Synder School in the Town of Sigel. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Linzmeier on May 28, 1949 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Sigel. He died on February 7, 2016. As a young lady Delores cleaned houses and then worked at Normington Cleaners. Later in her life, after moving from the farm, she worked at the Sherry cheese factory. She also babysat for many of the area children. She enjoyed sewing, canning and baking. Her cookies were the demand of all the grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and dancing. She really enjoyed camping because it was a time to get together with family and that was important to her. She is survived by her children, Deacon Vernon (Ruth) Linzmeier of Plover, Janice Linzmeier of Milladore, Phillip (Lynn) Linzmeier of Milladore, Joyce Martin of Milladore, and RoseMary Horn of Little Suamico. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Dawn, Craig, Scott, Cathi, Kristy, Heidi, Brad, Richard, Charlie, Danny, Jessica, Michelle, Chris, Adam, and Jennifer and 19 great grandchildren. She is further survived by brothers, Henry (Eleanore) Schroedel and John (Diane) Schroedel and sisters, Elaine (Jack) Simmonds and Yvonne Leech. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, a daughter Linda Trunek, a grandson John Trunek, a son-in-law Paul Martin, and sisters, Bernice, Roseann, Dorothy, and Henrietta and a brother Robert, Sr.
