Debbie L. Schieber, 59, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at her home.
Debbie was born on September 24, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended James Madison High School and graduated in 1977.
She was united in marriage to George Schieber Jr. on June 24, 1989. She was forever his "Sweetheart."
Debbie took great pride as owner of the Hewitt House from 1994-2013. Her gentle soul, compassion and loving heart made her not only an exceptional caregiver, but a friend of the residents and their families.
Debbie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was active in the community. She had a generous spirit and contributed to many organizations in need. She was always willing to help others in any way she could. Debbie loved to bake and share her treats, often delivering them around town. Her creative talents included sewing, painting, crafting and decorating. She also enjoyed gardening and camping.
Debbie will be remembered for her warm smile and heartfelt laugh. All who knew her called her friend.
Debbie is survived by her dad, Edward Cerveny, siblings, David (Patti) Kubatzki, Tammy (Anthony) Chimileski, and Karen Aili. She is further survived by her stepbrothers, Rick (Aimee) Cerveny, Robert Cerveny, and Roy (Lisa) Cerveny.
She is also survived by her father, George (Lori) Kubatzki, siblings, Charles Kubatzki and Robin Kubatzki, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, George "Turk" Schieber, and mother, Elizabeth Cerveny (nee Stilley).
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 pm until service time. Rev. Dean Pingel will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
