David J. Writz, 64 of Marshfield passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at his home. Family committal services will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. David was born on January 24, 1952 in Marshfield to Benjamin and Margaret (Dellenbach ) Writz. He was a 1972 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He then served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he became employed at Clover Cream Dairy. He was married to Bonita Cather and later divorced. David is survived by his mother Margaret Writz of Marshfield, siblings, Ron (Chris) Writz of Fostoria, OH, Lee (Bev) Writz of Neillsville, Mark (Deb) Writz of Kenosha, Nancy (Steve) Trierweiler, Gayle (Mike) Fait and Sue Writz all of Marshfield, along with many nieces and nephews.
