David W. Kubatzki, 63, passed away on May 23, 2023 at his home with family by his side.

Dave was born December 25, 1959 to George and Elizabeth (Stilley) Kubatzki in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He proudly served his country after attending Madison High School. Dave served in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout and in the U.S. Army reserves and was later discharged as a Drill Sergeant with the rank of Staff Sergeant. By trade, Dave was a carpenter and owned his own business for many years.

Dave enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dave and his wife Patti enjoyed many hunting adventures over their 32 years together. There was never a shortage of stories at the end of the day - some of them actually true.

Dave is survived by his wife Patti (Mahsem), stepfather Ed Cerveny, Mequon. Sisters Tammy (Tony) Chimileski, Karen Aili and sister-in-law Kathy Mahsem. He is also survived by other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica, his mother Elizabeth Cerveny and sister Debbie Schieber.

A private service will be held at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Cudahy, Wisconsin.
