David was born on December 7, 1961, to Leander and Monica (Kundinger) Kremer at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1980.
On July 29, 1983, David married the love of his life, Laurie Ann Griep, at Saint Michael's Catholic Church. Together, they made their home in Auburndale and Lindsey before building a house on the family farm in 1990, where they raised their son and two daughters. David held various positions throughout his career, with his primary role being in Environmental Services at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where he worked from 1980 to 2000.
A dedicated farmer, David found joy in sharing outdoor activities with his family, especially fishing, hunting, and camping. He was an active Boy Scout leader and grew to love camping through his volunteer work. David was also deeply committed to Saint Michael's Church, assisting with various events, funerals, and groundskeeping whenever needed. A member of the Knights of Columbus, he served proudly as a Third Degree Knight.
David is survived by his wife, Laurie Kremer; his children, Travis Lee Kremer of Marshfield, Tiffany Sue Meschefske (Stanton Meschefske) of Marshfield, and Tanya Rae Kremer (Rebeka Greenwood) of Weston, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Kyra Kremer-Weber, Brailynn Kremer-Gurlea, Zarianna Osowski, Cordelia Kremer-Meschefske, Aubrey Damask, Carter Damask, and Natasha Meschefske-Reigel (Mathew Reigel).
