David P. "Crabby Dave" Fischer, 72, of Marshfield passed away the morning of Saturday, October 31, 2026 at the Marshfield Medical Center – Marshfield.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2027.

Dave was born March 10, 1954 in Marshfield, WI to Jerome and Eleanor (Degner) Fischer. He was the 3rd son born to the couple out of 8 children in all. Dave attended local schools, graduating from Marshfield Senior High in 1972. Following his education he found work as a bartender / bar manager at Casa Loma and Clinique Bar here in town. In 1991 Dave and his wife established Crabby Dave’s at 501 South Central in Marshfield and operated it until 2016. During this time he helped run Jack’s bar following the death of his brother Jack in 2006. Dave was a very avid follower of all the Wisconsin sports. In his final week he was able to watch his Milwaukee Brewers win the World Series and his Green Bay Packers to win on the following day.
