Darlene Delores Mesner (Berry), 78, Marshfield, passed away on April 26,2025 at Marshfield Medical Center-Marshfield.

A private service with immediate family will be held at a future date.

Darlene was born on September 10, 1946, in Marshfield, Wi to Nicholas & Christina Smazal. She was a 1964 graduate of Auburndale High School. She was united in marriage to Emery Joseph Berry in 1972, who passed in 1994. She then remarried Bernard Mesner in 1995, who also passed in 2014.

She worked in food service at Ponderosa Steakhouse before retiring. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Michelle Gustafson (husband Carl) of Wausau, son Jon Berry (wife Lisa) of Spencer, her four grandchildren, Carsten (wife Becca) of Pittsville, Sawyer Lovstad of Green Bay, Cameron Gluege of Salt Lake City, UT, Patrick LaFernier of Spencer and step grandson Dakota Timm (wife Jess) of Spencer. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren Lorelei and Sophia Timm.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and all of her siblings, and her husbands.
