Darlene V. Franklin, 59, Marshfield, died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield where the visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until service time. Darlene was born on February 19, 1954 in Marshfield, the daughter of Frank and Veronica (Weinfurter) Rotar and was a 1972 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Erford J. "Jack" Franklin, II on April 28, 1973 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. Darlene and her husband operated Franklin Organic Farm in the Town of McMillan, Marathon County. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Jack and their children, Colleen "Kelly" Franklin of Wausau, Mathew (Sarah) Franklin of Marshfield, Nathan (Beth) Franklin of LaCrosse and Cara (Garrett) Jones of Iowa City, IA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Payton, Lucy, Brett, Henry, Presley, and Parker Franklin and Gideon Jones. She is further survived by 2 sisters, Donna (Dewain) Ellis and Betty Bohman, all of Marshfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Joseph Bohman.
