Darleen M. "Dottie" Mueller, 81 of Fenwood died peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 surrounded by her family at the Palliative Care Unit at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church ELCA on County Road N, Edgar with Pastor Gail Sowell officiating. Burial will be in Fenwood Cemetery. Visitations will be from 4-7pm Sunday at the church and again from 10am Monday until time of services at the church. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home of Stratford is assisting the family with the arrangements. Darleen was born on March 17, 1932 in the town of Wien, Marathon County to Edwin and Alma (Grosskreutz) Mueller, Sr. Darleen attended rural grade school in the town of Wien. She was united in marriage to Ervin A. Mueller, Sr. on April 22, 1950 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Edgar. Ervin died on January 14, 2005. She worked at Badger Basket, tended bar at Fenwood Bowling Alley and was the bookkeeper and helper for their company, Mueller Silo. Dottie enjoyed hunting, fishing with her grandchildren, gardening, canning, church quilting and trips to the casino where she won a 1998 Saturn car. Darleen was a breast cancer survivor. She is survived by her children, Ervin (Cheryl) Mueller, Jr. of Edgar, Sandra (Richard) Bradley of Fenwood, Barnell (Karen) Mueller of Fenwood, Steve (Cathy) Mueller of Marshfield, Sheryl Mueller of Fenwood, Cindy (Dean) Manecke of Fenwood, Jody (Dennis) Kirsch of Stratford and Kevin (Patti) Mueller of Edgar. She is further survived by 19 grandchildren, Tracy (Steve) Lake, Melanie Mueller, Stephanie Pierce, Michelle (Dan) Hollatz, Heidi (Brian) Remus, Pamela (Jeremy) Stahel, Christopher (Tina) Mueller, Renee Mueller, Rebecca (Joey) Stueber, Kirk, Brooke and Lina Mueller, Trisha (Josh) Heidtke, Quinn Manecke, Courtney (Nathan) Myszka, Hillary and Hayley Kirsch, Lucas and Shanna Mueller; 17 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Melva (Vernon) Nahring of Fenwood, Arline Koehler of Marathon, Frank (Allene) Mueller of Stratford, Allen (Elaine) Mueller of Edgar, Elgart Mueller of Edgar and Elton Mueller of Phoeniz, AZ.
