Dale D. Craft, 79, Marshfield, died on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Southern Illinois, following a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, with Rev. Dean Pingel officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Dale was born on April 26, 1939 in Pittsville, to Howard and Martha (Schalla) Craft and was a 1957 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Joan Rasmussen on June 20, 1959 and they later divorced. Dale worked in Marshfield at the family business, Craft's Trading Center, which he owned and operated from 1977 until his retirement in 2005. He had many hobbies in retirement, including traveling with Janice and friends, restoring equipment, inventing and creating "gadgets" for friends and loved ones, boating, fishing and many other outdoor activities. Dale loved spending time with his children and grand children, teaching them values, work ethic and the "old school way of life". Dale is survived by his significant other, Janice Grobe and his children, Todd (Lisa) Craft of Pleasant Prairie and Janalee (James) Yagow of Appleton. He is also survived by grandchildren, Tyler (Heather) Claringbole, Bryce Claringbole, and Elise, Matthew and Michael Craft and a great grandson, Oliver Claringbole. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Darwin (Sandy) Craft of Marshfield, Sally (Don) Knoeck of Waconia, MN, and Dave Craft of Texas, and a brother-in-law and his wife, Tom and Marlene Smrecek. Janice's children and grand children: Michael (Susan) Grobe, Debra Searles, Susan(Ken)Reget, Adrienne Grobe Balentine, Adam Grobe, Darcey Searles, Leslie Buccino, Pauline Searles and Amanda Reget. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Connie Smrecek. Memorials may be given in Mr. Craft's name, as the the family will designate a memorial at a later date.
