Dale A. Bohman, 51, Arpin, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 25 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt with Rev. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 9:30 am on Thursday until service time at St. Michael's Catholic Church. A rosary service will be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dale was born on August 17, 1964 in Marshfield, to Peter and Mary (Rotar) Bohman and attended Auburndale High School. He had owned and operated "The Shack" tavern in Stratford. He also worked as a supervisor at Wick Homes until they closed in Marshfield. Following he worked in excavating and then was employed at Counterform in Marshfield until the present time.
Dale had a great heart and would help friends, family and neighbors with little or no reward. He enjoyed his friends, shooting pool, playing cards and throwing bags with his family. He hobby farmed and enjoyed the outdoors, bow hunting, wildlife and fostered 2 pet deer named Doesy and Faunzey.
Dale is survived by his mother, Mary Bohman Pongratz of Hewitt and his siblings, Judy (Allen) Lang of Medford, Pat (Tom) Binder of Marshfield, Rose (Mitch) Maguire of Mosinee, Bev (Tom) Ott of Marshfield, Connie Zorman of Hewitt, Linda (Lee) Brumbaugh of Marshfield, Jacky (Tom) Altman of Marshfield, Shari (Steve) Ponshock of Auburndale and Dave Bohman of Stratford. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and Godchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Peter Bohman, his stepfather, Norbert Pongratz, a sister, Jean Bohman, brothers-in-law, Jim Schiferl and Rick Zorman and a nephew, Tyson Maguire.
