Craig L. Black, 63, Unity, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Craig was born on May 27, 1962 Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Terence and Bonnie (Polzin) Black. He graduated from Wayzata High School and Dunwoody College of Technology.

Craig enjoyed deer hunting, fabricating and building things, tinkering in his garage, playing chess and dominoes, being with friends and family, and taking his dog for car rides.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Black, daughter, Taylor Black, grandson, Isaac Black, ex wife, Joann Black, sister, Teri (Jerry Curtin) Black, and brother, Scott (Lynn) Black, stepmother, Michelle Black, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
