Colleen E. Belongia, 87, formerly of Blenker, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at The Waterford in Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Jim Johnston will officiate. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will take place at St. Kilian's Cemetery, Blenker with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers.

Colleen was born on August 11, 1938 in Bruce, Wisconsin to Hugh and Fern (Weston) Cotton. She graduated from West Bend High School. She was united in marriage to Clayton Belongia on December 28, 1957 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend. He passed away on July 22, 1993.

Colleen worked as a teacher's aide for the Auburndale School District. She also farmed and raised 5 children. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, puzzle books, polka music, and traveling - especially to Ireland. Colleen was an active member in church and the church choir.

She is survived by her children, David Belongia of Hastings, MN, Suzanne (Vince) Bernet of Maplewood, MN, Mary (Raymond) Bauer of Auburndale, and Carol (David) Goehring of Arpin, grandchildren, Jacob Belongia, Valerie (Michael) Caylor, Christopher (Megan) Goehring, Robert Goehring, Kaitlin Bauer, Adam (Ingrid) Bauer, Hannah Belongia, and Aaron Belongia, and 3 great grandchildren.

She is further survived by her sister, Ellen (Howard) Johnson of West Bend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Lois Homuth, son Jeffrey Belongia, devoted friend Richard Grage and many brothers and sisters in law.
