Cody Gerald Kalz passed away on September 12, 2020. Cody was born April 15, 1990. Cody was a loving father and survived by three beautiful children Jayda Kalz 9, Hailey Kalz 6, and Zane Lockington 4, and his loving longtime girlfriend Elise Boxleitner. He was the loving son of Dan and Kerrie Mullins. He was a loving brother to Tara Moy, Hunter Moy, Zachary and Christina Mullins, Josh Guth, and Caitlin Mullins. He was a loving grandson to Sandy Spanbauer. He was a nephew to Terry and Mellisa Kalz and C.J. and Tammy Spanbauer. He was an uncle to Michael, Jozlynn, Cameron, Mayson, Sydnee, Leni, Taytum, Jacob, Payslee. Loved by his cousins Dylan, Dustin, Jesse, Amber, Aiden, and Ava. Cody was preceded in death by grandfathers Gerald Kalz and James Spanbauer. Great grandparents Gerald and Katherine Schmiege and Joe and Harriet Kalz. Cody loved his life, his children, family and friends. Cody worked as a roofer, carpenter, and railroad welder. The last few years he loved working in the woods and learned how to run all the heavy equipment. Cody loved the outdoors fishing and hunting. He was truly a great person. He had nothing bad to say to anyone, and always laughing and joking. His passing will leave us all with heavy hearts. His good-hearted self will always be with everyone he has touched.
