Clemens J. Pecher, 88 of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at his home in the presence of his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, June 9th, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield with Father Daniel Williams officiating. Music will be provided by Cindy Penker and the St. Johns Funeral Choir. Graveside Committal will be at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.. Military rites will be provided at the cemetery by the American Legion Post 54. The family will receive friends at church from 9am until Mass.

Clem was born August 24, 1934 in Athens, WI to George and Mary Anna (Felzkowski) Pecher. He attended St. Anthony's Catholic School in Athens. While young he helped his parents on the family farm before joining the Army in 1956 where he served as a cook in Korea until 1958. Following his service he married the former Miss Grace Murphy July 18th, 1964 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Milan, Wisconsin. Together they moved to Marshfield where they raised 3 children.

Clem worked for Weyerhaeuser for 41 years as a millworker. In his free time and especially after retirement; he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching game shows & old westerns (anything with John Wayne), and was an avid Packers & Brewers fan.

He is survived by his wife Grace and their children: Kim (Roger) Rybicki of Marshfield, Lisa (Dan) Ferch of Marshfield, and Scott (Theresa) Pecher of Waupaca. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his brother Duane (Pat) Pecher, a sister-in-law Janet Pecher, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Urban Pecher, and sisters Rosemary (Harvey) Soczka, and Patricia (James) Miller.
