Clarence A. Ottelien, 83 of Marshfield died on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Colonial Center in Colby. He was receiving care from Ministry Home Care Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville with Fr. John Robert Alphonse officiating. Music will be provided by St. Andrew's Folk Choir. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with his grandchildren as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 10am until time of services Monday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Clarence was born on October 3, 1930 in the town of Green Valley, Marathon County to Herman and Mary (Robl) Ottelien. He was united in marriage to Patricia Beck on May 26, 1959 in Marshfield. Clarence is survived by his wife Patricia, children Pamela Ottelien of Madison, Jeffrey (Karen) Ottelien of Cottage Grove, Clare (Joseph) Fischer of Marshfield, Steven (Cheryl) Ottelien of Madison, David (Dede) Ottelien of Fitchburg, Tracy (Patrick) Lang of Columbus and nine grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Ronald (June) Ottelien of Stratford, sister Elaine (Jerome) Daul of Stratford, brother-in-law Jack Serchen of Waterford and a sister-in-law Luella Ottelien of Sturtevant. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ervin Ottelien, sister Lorraine 'Tootie' Serchen and an infant sister Catherine. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
