Christopher John "Chris" Esquivel, 37, Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville, where the visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Pastor David Bratlie will officiate. Chris was born on March 23, 1979 in Marshfield, to Humberto V. and Susan (Zeebe) Esquivel. He worked at Counter-Form Company in Marshfield and took culinary classes. He loved music and was a restless spirit up for any adventure. Chris is survived by his mother, Susan (Russell) Tews, his father, Humberto V. (Stella) Esquivel, his son, Phoenix James, his girlfriend, Amy O'Keefe, his 4 sisters, Ginny (Esquivel) Baumbach, Wendy (Tews) Langreck, Heather Tews, and Deeana Oldham and his brother, Jordan Esquivel. He is also survived by 3 aunts, Maria, Julie, and Anita, and numerous nieces and nephews.
