IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cheryl
Lindbo
December 9, 1944 – March 3, 2026
Cheryl Lindbo, 81, of Marshfield, WI, passed into heaven peacefully on March 3, 2026, surrounded by family.
A combined Celebration of Life and Burial for Cheryl and her beloved husband, Tom Lindbo, will be held at a later date to be determined. Cheryl will join Tom at his burial site at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire, WI.
Cheryl was born on December 9, 1944, in the city of Eau Claire, WI to her parents Albert and Hazel Curry. Many of Cheryl's childhood memories were of the Mount Simon area of Eau Claire. Cheryl married Thomas C. Lindbo on December 31, 1960. The only person she loved more than Tom was Jesus.
Through the years Cheryl enjoyed a variety of activities including crocheting clothes for dolls which she displayed in her home or gifted to friends and family members. She loved working with the elderly and received her certificate as a nursing assistant, a profession she enjoyed for 40 years. Tom and Cheryl loved spending time together hunting and fishing, which they continued to do together even after they moved from Eau Claire, WI, in 1991 to Fort Wayne, IN.
Cheryl is survived by two daughters, Chriss Lindbo and Susan Oehler, four grandchildren and their spouses, and six great-grandchildren. Cheryl is also survived by her siblings Don (Sharon) Prince, Jack (Shelly) Prince, and Sara (Dan) McCutchin. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, two stepfathers Donald J. Prince and Jack Moe, stepmother Rose Curry, brother Joel Prince, and husband of 63 years Tom Lindbo.
Cheryl's family would like to extend special thanks to ALL the nurses, nursing assistants, chaplains, doctors, social workers, environmental service staff, and all who took care of her at House of the Dove and Marshfield Medical Center Palliative Care Unit. Thank you for your concern, expertise, and excellence while caring for your patients.
In addition, Cheryl’s children would like to extend a special thanks to D. Jake Roberts who guided Cheryl and Tom to Jesus. Your presence in their lives will never be forgotten.
