IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cheryl L.
Darr
March 24, 1951 – January 29, 2026
Cheryl L. Darr, 74, Pittsville, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2026 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pittsville with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Gary Markworth will officiate. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery, Pittsville.
Cheryl was born on March 24, 1951 in Wisconsin Rapids to Robert and Mary (Pike) Woodman. She graduated from Pittsville High School. She was united in marriage to Dale Darr on November 14, 1970 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pittsville.
Mom brought so much life to our family. She was always happiest being outside, whether she was working in her garden or fishing at Lake Chetek—a place she loved visiting for sixty years. When she wasn't outdoors, she always had a project in the works, from painting ceramics and working on puzzles to knitting and crocheting. Because of her talent, we will all treasure the handmade baby blankets she made for every one of her grandkids as a special gift from her heart. While she always loved the fun of a good card game, nothing beat the joy of having the whole family together for the holidays, birthdays, or any day where she truly enjoyed watching everyone talk, laugh, joke, and drink coffee. She was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Dale, children, Mark (Heather) Darr, Lisa (Jason) Fimreite, Matthew (Janalee) Darr, and Mary (Robin) Berg, grandchildren, Matthew (Jen), Mitchell (Starly), Amanda (Kody), Kennedy, Brooke (Riley), Jayden (Ben), Dalton, Jaxon, Jack, Halle, Brock, Drake, Everett, and Oliver, and great grandchildren, Hudson, Rhett, Octavia, and Ridge, and many nieces and nephews.
She is further survived by her sister, Barb (Jim) Fox and Ronda (Jerry) Minor, and brother, Jeff (Lisa) Woodman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Woodman.
