Cheryl L. Chapel, 71, of Stratford passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 peacefully at her home. The family will welcome family and friends for a celebration of life at Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Cheryl was born on June 18, 1950 in Marshfield to LeRoy and Fern (LaSee) Bey. She was a 1968 graduate of Marshfield Sr. High. Cheri and Tom were married on August 30, 1969 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. Cheri was a loving mom and wife. She enjoyed shopping, doing puzzles, watching movies and DIY programs. She loved the holidays, particularly Christmas when she could get together with all of her family. She is survived by her two sons, Chris (Jenny) Chapel and Chuck (Rhonda) Chapel all of Stratford. She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew, Hailey and Alec Chapel, Myranda (Luke) Schwantes all of Stratford & LCpl Mathew Chapel of Camp Pendleton, CA. She is further survived by a brother DuWayne (Jane) Bey, brother-in-law Richard (Jane) Chapel all of Marshfield, sister-in-law Cathy Bey of Sheboygan, and brother-in-law Chuck Ashbeck of Surprise, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Bev Herman, Patti Ashbeck, and brothers Doug Bey and Billy Bey.
