Charlyne A. Krings, 82, Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Pittsville.

Charlyne was born on May 27, 1943 in Wisconsin Rapids to Adian and Edna (Lobdell) Burt. She was united in marriage to Arnold Krings Jr. on April 28, 1973 at United Methodist Church in Marshfield. He passed away on March 20, 1988.

Charlyne enjoyed flowers, garage sales, babysitting foster children, being a housewife, and spending a lot of time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Karen) King of Spencer and Mark (Jackie) King of Stratford, 12 grandchildren, Amy, Austin, Nadia, Starr, Jaden, Mateo, Isiah, Elizabeth, Matthew, Stephanie, Joshua, and Sara, and 8 great grandchildren, Mekhia, Reese, Andre, Jax, Hadlee, Saylor, Izabella, and Rachael.

She is further survived by her sisters, Janice Upchurch of Texas, Teresa Burt of Marshfield, and Connie Tebo of Bear Creek.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Lamont Burt, Harley Burt, and Olan Burt, and sister, Doreen Anderson.
