Charles A. Strebel, 85, Rib Lake, died on Friday, October 7, 2016 in Marshfield. Charles was born on March 10, 1931 in Chicago. His parents were Charles and Yvonne (Chopard) Strebel. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in the 1st Marine Division during the Korean War. He received the Bronze Star. He married Joyce Katherine Ostrander in 1952. She passed away and he later married Delores Jean Gallaher. She also passed away. Charles is survived by his children, Charles B. Strebel, Linda J. Larson, Kurt K. Strebel, Deeana M. Strebel, and Colleen A. Barrouse. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joyce, his parents, Charles and Yvonne Strebel, his second wife, Delores and a son Glenn A. Strebel. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
