Cecelia K. Felton, 87, Marshfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the home of her daughter, Elizabeth, surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Rembs Funeral Home, 300 South Oak Av., where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am until service time. Cecelia was born on February 7, 1927 in Spencer, Wisconsin, the daughter of William J. and Elizabeth K. (Weis) Fischer. She was a graduate of Spencer High School and worked at several local businesses over the years including Northern Auto Supply, Figi's, Charolais Supper Club, Weyerhaeuser Manufacturing and the Marshfield News Herald. Her entire family benefited from her enjoyment of gardening, baking and cooking. She will best be remembered for her independence of spirit and her love of "Abba" (Hebrew for Father – God). She will be dearly missed. She is lovingly survived by her children, Jan (Jonathan) Buchler, William (Rita) Seubert, Richard (Karen) Felton, David (Lori Ress) Felton, Robert (Annette) Felton, Elizabeth (James Kress, Jr.) Felton, and Barbara (Jonathan) Lokhorst; her grandchildren, Hanna and Sarah Buchler, Travis Seubert, Shawn and Alayna Felton, Tyler Ress, Jason Lenz, and Robert, Kendra and Taylor Jonathan Lokhorst, and 9 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her dear sister, Gertrude (Andrew) Bodendorfer, a sister-in-law, Marion Fischer and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Lawrence Fischer. The family extends a special thank you to the outstanding staff of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services for their compassionate assistance and support with mom's care.
