On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, Catherine Mary (Eckes) Cornwell was called to her Lord in heaven. She was 72 years old. Cathy was born on February 24, 1952, to Aloysius and Agnes Eckes in Marshfield, WI.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Roger L. Cornwell, father Aloysius "Al" Eckes, mother Agnes (Eckes) Waterman, sister Cheryl Bolton, brother in law Mark W. Janeczko Sr., and stepfather Wendell Waterman.

She is survived by her significant other Ronald Stenzel, stepson Bryan (Krysi) Cornwell, grandsons Noah and Benjamin, stepdaughter Jodi (Steve) Goldberg, and grandson Max. She was the sister of Karen (Greg) Soldner, Larry Eckes, Mary Anne Reichert, Jane Janeczko, Nancy (Presley) Ward, Janice (Tony) Liesenfelder, and Steve (Sheila) Eckes. She also has many nieces, nephews, extended family and many "just like family" friends.

Private entombment will be at Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery on Hwy 13, Town of Richfield, Wood County.
