Carole H. "Peppy" Brandl, 80, Marshfield, died on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, at her home in the town of Cameron surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 9th at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm and 10am until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Richfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis and Justin Crist, Dennis and Josh Duerr, and Mark and Hunter Korger.
Peppy was born August 4, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Harold E. and Helene (George) Hall. She married James A. Brandl, Sr. on June 21, 1958, in Portage County. He sadly passed on November 26, 2017.
Peppy was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was very giving and caring. She devoted her life to taking care of others through her nursing career. She was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital, Century 21 Realty, and Norwood Health Center. Peppy loved life and lived it to its fullest! She loved gardening, hunting, fishing, traveling, painting, and playing keno. Her favorite place to travel was Las Vegas. Peppy enjoyed spending time with family, friends, her bird CoCo, and her cat Token. Peppy will be missed by all.
Peppy is survived by her children, James (Gina) Brandl Jr. of Arpin, Joy (Mark) Korger of Marshfield, Judy Bendickson of Arpin, Jackie (Dennis) Crist of Arpin, Candy Brandl (Dennis Duerr) of Marshfield, and the late Johnnee (Sarah Olson) Brandl of Auburndale. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings: Kathlee Puls of Cushing, OK, Linda Martino of San Diego, CA, Candace (Jim) Falk of Appleton, Valorie (Don) Adams of Redlands, CA, Eileen Gaffney of Marshfield, Scotty (Patty) Hall of Necedah, and Leland (Diane) Hall of Kerens, TX; and sister-in-law Nancy Hall of Montgomery, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Sr., son Johnnee Brandl, son-in-law Tim Bendickson, brother Harold Hall Jr., and brothers-in-law Don Gaffney, Royce Puls, Stan Rusin, and Hudson Cutshall.
