Carol M. Fleisner, 70, Stratford, died peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford, with Rev. John Robert Alphonse officiating. Burial will take place in St. Adalbert's Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Mark and Matthew Handrick, Marc Hannum, Ben Pupp, Jeff Hughes, and Adam Fleisner. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford, and on Thursday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Carol was born on April 15, 1944 in Marshfield to Troy and Mary (Kaser) Hannum and was a 1962 graduate of Columbus High School. She married Benny Knoll on September 29, 1962 and they divorced. She later married Kenneth Fleisner on September 14, 1988. Carol had been a school bus driver in Stratford for 25 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, sewing and attending her grandsons ballgames. In her younger years she was a member of the Stratford Homemakers Club. She is survived by her husband, Ken and her children, Scott (Cindy) Knoll of Germantown and Shelly (Jim) Handrick of Stratford. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Michael Knoll of Marrinette, and Mark and Matthew Handrick, both of Stratford and 2 great grandchildren, Layla and Caden. She is further survived by a sister, Shirley (Ron) Bores of Stratford and a brother, Mike (Mary Lou) Hannum of Marshfield. She was predeceased by her parents and a son Mark Knoll.
