Carl J. Mueller, 78, Marshfield, passed away on All Saints Day on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Father Eric Berns officiating. Burial will take place in McMillan Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Town of McMillan, Marathon County. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until service time at Our Lady of Peace Church. Military rites will be conducted at Our Lady of Peace Church by the American Legion Post 54, following the service. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Carl was born on June 6, 1937 in Milwaukee to Robert and Frances (Kuenzle) Mueller. He was a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering where he received a Mechanical Engineering Degree. He was united in marriage to Camille M. Michalski on June 22, 1963.
In 1954 Carl enlisted in the Air National Guard in Milwaukee, serving until 1962. He was employed as a contract engineer and founder of Mueller Publishing, Inc.
He was a tested man of wisdom, who desired to live in the present moment according to God's will. He loved being called the "little philosopher" by his father. A solid man of God and principle, and he was a blessing to his wife and children. He was a humorous Harley riding entrepreneur.
He is survived by his wife Camille and their children, Jayne (Robert) Thill, Joyce (Randy) Gershman, John Mueller, Rebecca (Mark) Fabisch, Robert (Elizabeth) Mueller, William (Karen) Mueller, and Nathan (Jennifer) Mueller. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and sisters, Grace Ehr, Mary (Gary) Wolfe and Rose (Frank) Vasquez and a brother, Father Robert Mueller.
He was predeceased by his parents, and 3 brothers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated in his name to the American Center for Law and Justice or to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
