Brock Daniel Schroeder, 22 of Marshfield, Wisconsin, took his own life on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Brock was born on May 22, 1993, in Madison, Wisconsin and is survived by his loving parents, Corey and Dixie (Costerisan) Schroeder of Marshfield, his grandmother, Marcella Schroeder of Mauston, his aunts and uncles: Phil & Debbie (Costerisan) Raupp of Reedsburg; Jeff & Sue Rischette of Tomah; Craig & Ardith Schroeder of Wonewoc; and Kirk & Karen Schroeder of Baraboo, many beloved cousins and the family puppy, Jetta. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Marvin (Mike) Schroeder and Donald and Lin (Clark) Costerisan Hackbarth. Brock graduated from Neillsville High School in 2011, where he participated in football and baseball. He was also a hockey player and referee with the Marshfield Youth Hockey Association for many years. After graduating, Brock worked a variety of jobs throughout Wisconsin and dreamed of a career in the video game industry. Brock was a quiet and loving young man who struggled for many painful years to fit in and find true happiness. No services will be held.
