Bridget D. Gorski, 83, formerly of Junction City died on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Ministry St. Josephs' Hospital in Marshfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City with Fr. John Ofori-Domah officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with her grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Thursday, September 19th at the Martens / Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City and again on Friday at the church from 10am until the time of service. Bridget was born on October 8, 1929 in Junction City to William and Bridget (Rutta) Kawleski. She was united in marriage to Norman M. Gorski on September 16, 1950 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Junction City. Bridget lived in the Junction City area her entire life. She worked in manufacturing and assembly at Del Monte, Weber Tackle, Figi's, and Big A Distributors. Most of all, she was a dedicated loving and caring wife, mother and homemaker. She was a volunteer at St. Michael's Church in the Altar Society. Bridget enjoyed watching and listening to the birds. She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon (John) Medjanyk of Inner Grove Heights, MN, Diane (late husband Mike) Strong of Junction City and Gertrude "Trudy" (Joseph) Wanta of Midland, TX; 6 grandchildren, Paul (Rebecca) Steltenpohl, Lisa Gillstrom, Billy (Denise) Medjanyk, Daniel Medjanyk, Michael (Jodi) Strong and Kyle Wanta and 8 great grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother Steve (Dolores) Kawleski of Stevens Point. Besides her parents and husband Norman, she was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy Gorski and 14 brothers and sisters. Memorials will be designated at a later date. Those we love don't go away.
