Obituary

Blanche Melski, 94, Marshfield, died on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Bethel Center, Arpin. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Lyndhurst, NJ. Burial will take place In Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Blanche was born on March 16, 1918 in Jersey City, NJ, to Joseph and Pauline Moszczynski. She married William E. Melski in June of 1942 in Bayonne, NJ. She lived in New Milford, NJ most of her life and came to Marshfield in June of 2003. Blanche was a very fine seamstress and knitter and a devoted Catholic. She is survived by her children, twin daughters, Christine (James) Gebauer of Frenchtown, NJ and Jean (Ed) Pickave of Brownstown, PA and a son, John (Linda) Melski, M.D. of Marshfield. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, David (Amy Gale) Melski, Katherine (Jeramy) Kruser, Eric (Tanya Gallagher) Melski and their daughter, Audrey; and Thomas Gabauer. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, 2 sisters, Mary Zaorski, Frances Mueller and 2 brothers, Anthony Moszczynski, and Edward Moszczynski. Memorials may be designated in her name to Catholic Charities. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
