Betty Jane Fischer was reunited with family and friends in heaven early Tuesday morning of December 13th, 2022 while at Marshfield Health Services residence.

Born 4-6-1926 to Otto and Freida (nee Schroeder) Dickman in March Rapids, Wisconsin. As a child she attended Lindbergh School.

She married Edgar Fischer 10-20-1945 (died 7-31-2004), at Zion Lutheran church in Stratford, Wisconsin.

Edgar and Betty resided on their family farm in Nasonville until the farm was sold in 1972, when they moved to Marshfield.

Betty was active as a Lincoln 4-H leader (sewing, baking, crafts), active member of Grace Lutheran church in Nasonville and later at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. She was a proficient seamstress, enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, square dancing, card playing (sheep's head) with family and friends, entertaining, cooking, baking, canning, crafts (ceramic's painting), and so much more!

While residing in Marshfield Betty and Edgar were active in the Soup & Socks, food pantry, and she also worked in women's apparel at McCains clothing store.

Betty is survived by her daughters Connie Fischer (Woodstock, Illinois), Lana Farb (Liberty Lake, Washington), and son Ardell Fischer (Marshfield). Grandchildren Tina (Ken) Penrod, Tawny (John) Havert, Trent (Joy) Schellhaass, Aaron Farb, Angie (James) Carison, Shaina Farb, Tony Farb, Heather Farb, Marsha Farb, Kris (Tim) Morrison, Karla (Barry) Cox, Kari (Christopher) Leicher, and Taylor Fischer.

She was also Great Grandmother of 21 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Edgar (7-31-2004), daughter Diane Morley (3-12-1987), nephew James Dickman, niece Sharon (nee Dickman) Schmidt, brother Edward (and Esther) Dickman, brother in law Dale (and Audrey) Fischer, and many other family members and friends.

Family Graveside service will take place at a later date in the spring.
