Bernice M. "Busy Bea" Meacham, 91 of Marshfield died on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at her home.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield with Fr. Sam Martin Officiating. Cindy Penker along with St. John's Funeral Choir will provide the music for the service. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30am Tuesday at the church until service time.
Bernice was born on September 28, 1924 in Marshfield to Edward and Anastasia (Lecher) Hahn. She was united in marriage to Clarence G. Yaeger, Sr. on December 3, 1942 and he died on September 19, 1975. She then married Jesse Meacham on June 7, 1977 and he died on December 23, 1998.
Bernice worked at several different jobs until opening her own bridal shop, Bea Yaeger's Bridal Salon. She owned it until February 1987 when she retired.
She is survived by three sons, Clarence (Pat) Yaeger of Garden, MI; Allen (Fran) Yaeger of Poynette; Larry (Sara) Yaeger of Marshfield; three daughters Shirley (Rod) Wimmer of Marshfield; Dawn (Hank) Hash of Marshfield and Barbara (Dan Bever) Weber of Marshfield; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother Robert Hahn of Stevens Point and three sisters Gladys Uthmeier, Lucille Schreindl and Sally (Dan Redmond) Bremmer all of Marshfield.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, and two brothers William and Edward Hahn.
