Bernard E. Fox, age 86, Neillsville, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center, with his loving wife at his side.

Bernard was born on June 5, 1938, in Black River Falls, to Freeman and Mary (Hall) Fox. He was a 1956 graduate of Huntley High School in Huntley, IL. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving until his honorable discharge in 1960. He married Judy Andersen on December 2, 1978, in Neillsville.

Bernie had worked as a truck driver and then at Weyerhaeuser Company, later Marshfield Doors, until his retirement. He enjoyed racing cars, watching NASCAR, gardening, bird watching, and jig saw puzzles. Faith and his church were important to him, and he served as a deacon at the Marshfield Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, and children, Matthew Fox of Marshfield, Megan Fox of Baraboo, and John Fox of Springfield, TN, and grandchildren, Erica Elmhorst, Soren Elmhorst, Alexandria Fox, and Javier Fox. He is also survived by a brother, Lawrence Fox.

He was predeceased by his parents and five brothers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
