Barbara M. Schultz, age 66, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Marshfield, where a visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. Daniel Thelen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine, Marathon County. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Barbara was born on October 27, 1957, in Marshfield, to Floyd and Marie (Leick) Heinze and was a 1975 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She also was a 1977 graduate of North Central Technical Institute in Wausau. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Schultz on October 19, 1990, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Barb was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. She worked in the Psychiatry Department of Marshfield Clinic in various roles starting in 1977 and retiring in 2021.

She enjoyed stamping, playing cards, growing flowers and spending time with her family. She and Jeff especially enjoyed their vacations to Door County and Branson, MO.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff, and siblings, Dale (Donna) Heinze, Lori (Scott) Schneider, and Michele (Peter) Hannan. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Rita Schultz, and a brother-in-law, Randy Schultz (wife Jess Tai) and nephews, Ryan (Kellie) Hannan, Sebastian Schultz, Theo Schultz, nieces, Alyssa (Jesus) Meza, Lexi Schneider, Bailey Schneider (fiance – Reed Burtnett) and great niece, Ezra Burtnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Marie Heinze, father-in-law, Ken Schultz, and her beloved poodle, Buddy.
