Barbara A. (Thompson) Rundle, 74 of Stratford, found peace on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the home of her son Gordon Rundle after a courageous battle with renal cancer, which she delt with for the past 9 years. She was under the care of Ministry Home Hospice Care. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home of Stratford is assisting the family Per her request, there will be no services. Barbara was born on October 5, 1937 in Evansville, WI. She raised 5 children in Monroe, WI with her husband Milford, who predeceased her in 2002. Barbara lived in Florida, Kansas, and Abbotsford and for 11 years recently in Arizona. She spent the last 7 months with her son Gordon and daughter-in-law Brenda in Stratford. She was an avid crafter of Barbie Doll clothes and other handmade items in the later 50's. She donated lap robes and chair bags to the Veterans Homes in King and Prescott, AZ. She is survived by her two sons Gordon (Brenda) Rundle of Stratford and Robert (Nancy) Rundle of Evansville and a daughter, Connie Rundle of Unity; 8 grandchildren, Gordie Jr., Terri Wojcik, Cheyenne Riemer, Donna Lammar, Rebecca Rundle, Toni Rundle, Nancy Rundle and Russell Rundle; 8 great grandchildren, Gordie III, Emily, Alyca, Amberlee, Alyson, Mya, Larrissa and Hannah. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons Neil and Russell, granddaughter Bobbie Jo and two brothers.
