Barbara A. Binder, 81, formerly of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Benedictine Living Community in Northfield, MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville where a gathering of family and friends will be from 9:30 am until the time of service. Father Nathan and Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Barb was born on March 23, 1945 in Wausau to Frederick and Martha (Beran) Blanke. She was united in marriage to Donald A. Binder on December 27, 1969 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield.
Barb enjoyed gardening, where she lovingly tended to her plants and flowers, and took pride in crafting homemade wine to share with family and friends. She had a talent for quilting and sewing, often creating thoughtful, handmade items that will be cherished for years to come. Baking was another passion, filling her home with warmth and delicious treats. She also enjoyed fishing and treasured the peaceful moments it brought. Above all, she valued time spent with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren, creating lasting memories through her love, guidance, and care.
She is survived by her daughters, LeAnne (Thomas) Murphy of Clear Lake, MN, Jolene (Chris) Chapp of Northfield, MN, and Melanie (John) Gawronski of Oconomowoc, son, Mark (Maureen) Reinhardt of Neillsville, 10 grandchildren, Gavin, Keegan and Nolan Murphy, Ceci and Sam Chapp, London Gawronski, and Nicole, Lauren, Ethan, and Luke Reinhardt, and 7 great grandchildren.
She is further survived by her sister, Janice Blanke of Quebec, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Keith, husband, Don, and sister, Jean Holland of Plover.
Memorials will be designated at a later date.
