Arthur Clyde Koniecki, 78, Vesper, died on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Marshfied Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 pm on Friday until service time. Rev. Malaiyappan Amalanathan (Fr. Nathan) will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Auburndale at a later date. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 153 of Pittsville. Arthur was born on February 28, 1939 in Milwaukee, to Sigmund and Eleanor (Dziczkowski) Koniecki. He was a graduate of Carroll College where he received his Masters Degree in English and Education. He married Marie A. Singer on July 11, 1970 at St. Joachim's Catholic Church, Pittsville. Art was a veteran of the United States Army serving from August 1959 until his honorable discharge July 1962. Art had been a teacher at Pittsville High School and then at Mid State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids. He is survived by his wife, Marie, of Vesper, and their daughter, Audrey Koniecki of Pueblo, CO. He is also survived by brothers, Dale (Judy) Koniecki and Wayne Koniecki.
