Obituary

Arthur J. Kleinhenz, 52, Pittsville, died on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in the Town of Cranmoor, the result of a logging accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Pittsville, with Rev. Robert Nelson officiating. The visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville and from 9:30 am on Saturday until service time at St. Joachim Catholic Church. Arthur was born on November 21, 1962 in Milwaukee, the son of Lou and Joan (Matowski) Kleinhenz. He was a graduate of St. John Vianney Parochial School and Catholic Memorial High School, both in Milwaukee. He then received a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. Art began working during the summers while in college and then after his education at Bartling Cranberry Marsh in Manitowish Waters where he was employed until 1989. He then became manager of 6M Cranberry Marsh in City Point where he worked for 26 years. In May of 2014 he discovered a new love in his career and joined the Canadian National Railroad where he was employed until the present time. Art met Diane Hahn in 1990 and they were united in marriage on March 22, 1993 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Pittsville. Art enjoyed trapping and hunting and loved spending time with his boys. He helped anyone that needed it and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a jokester and had a contagious laugh. He also was a baseball enthusiast, loving everything about the sport and especially enjoyed listening to the Brewers games on the radio. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Diane and their sons, Ed and Vern Kleinhenz, all of Pittsville. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Kleinhenz of Brookfield and sisters, Lynn (Peter) Bartling of Stoughton, Carol (Allen) Luterbach and Casey Kleinhenz, all of Whales, and his father-in-law, Donald Hahn of Pittsville. He was predeceased by his father, a sister, Judy Steenock, a brother-in-law, Fred Steenock and his mother-in-law, Anna Hahn. The family will designate a memorial in his name at a later date.
