Arlene M. Hayes, 73 of Marshfield passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Tuesday, October 13 at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Pam Swetz along with St. John's Funeral Choir will provide the music. Burial will be in St. Kilian's Catholic Cemetery in Blenker. Nephews George Swetz, Gerard Draxler, Frank Draxler, Ronald Draxler, Donald Draxler, and Brian Foltz will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 9:30am Tuesday until time of services at the church.

Arlene was born in Marshfield on November 24, 1941 to Steve J. and Helen M. (Vanek) Swetz. She attended St. Kilian's grade school, Blenker and then Columbus High School, Marshfield, where she graduated in 1959.She was united in marriage to Robert O. Hayes on September 16, 1972 at St. Kilian's Catholic Church in Blenker. He sadly passed away on February 7, 1983.
Arlene worked at Weyerhaeuser Corp in Marshfield for many years and then for Fiskars in Spencer.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, car rides, and her family as well as visiting with all her friends at Parkview Apartments; where she resided.
Arlene is survived by one brother and two sisters: George F. (Marie) Swetz of Blenker, Laurina Draxler of Auburndale, and Charleen Moscinski of Wisconsin Rapids. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Francis Draxler.
