Anton V. "Tony" Stini, 84 of Neillsville died on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Neillsville Care & Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30am Friday, December 5, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield with Fr. Eric Berns officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitations will be from 4-8:00pm Thursday at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield and again on Friday at the church from 10:30am until service time. Tony was born on June 15, 1930 in the town of Lincoln to Joseph and Mary (Dieringer) Stini where he attended the Lone Elm School. As a young man, he worked at various farms in the area and then became employed at Curt Marg Rendering in Neillsville. He later worked at Neillsville Foundry for 22 years until becoming employed for the Neillsville School District as a custodian until his retirement on October 30, 1997. Tony is survived by a brother, Clarence (Agnes) Stini of Marshfield, sisters, Ann Merkes of Edgar, Loretta Laumer of Helmit, CA, Lucinda Kopp of Stratford, and Helen (Oliver) Schueller of Athens. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Caroline Stini of Marshfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gilbert, Joseph, Norbert and Michael Stini, Mildred Mannigel, Florence Werner, Mary Reel, Margaret Donnerbauer and Marcella Bargender.
