IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annette L.
Deuel
August 24, 1936 – March 30, 2025
Annette L. Deuel, 88, Beloit, formerly Marshfield, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Willowick in Beloit. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes.
Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.
Annette was born on August 24, 1936 in Auburndale, WI to Wenzel and Florence (Carolfi) Karl, Sr. She was united in marriage to L. John Deuel on December 4, 1976 in Neillsville. He passed away on November 14, 1995.
Annette was a loving mother and grandmother to a large extended family. Family was the most important thing to her and her true joy came from spending time with any of them whenever she could. She was very proud that she retired from a 34 year career at Weyerhaeuser and amazingly never used a sick day. After retirement she loved tending to her flower gardens, mowing her large lawn but despised all the chipmunks. She enjoyed polka music, watching game shows, embroidering dish towels and word search books. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son Tim (Jill) Austin of Great Falls, MT, daughters Shirley (Gary) Hallowell of Janesville, WI, Cindy (Joel) Franklin of St. Paul, MN, Lisa (Mark) Dowdle of Everette, WA and Cathy (Allen) Christofferson of Roslyn, SD, 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is further survived by her sister Helen Andres and brother Ronald (Tammi Jenkins) Karl.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wenzel and Florence and brothers Martin, James, Richard, Francis and Wenzel "Windy" Karl Jr., and great-granddaughters Sera and Hannah.
