Annette Booher-Malcolm (82) was called into the arms of her Savior on May 29, 2026. Daughter of the late Revs. Carl and Mercedes Booher, she was born August 30, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Annette graduated from 8th grade in Prairie City, IA, and from high school at Omaha Central in 1962. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Comprehensive Music Education from UW–Eau Claire in 1966 and later her Master's Degree in Education, with a Gifted/Talented emphasis, from UW–Stevens Point.
From 1966–69 she taught elementary and junior-high band at Woodrow Wilson Junior High in Manitowoc, and from 1969–98 she briefly taught elementary general music and then band at D.C. Everest Junior High in Schofield. During the 1988–89 school year, Annette was awarded D.C. Everest Junior High Teacher-of-the-Year.
Predeceasing her, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Dr. Harlen Malcolm; a brother, Rev. Donald; and sisters-in-law Nancy and Norma Jean.
Her Booher family survivors include brothers Louis and Steven D. (Marlene); nieces Tami (Brian) Terpstra, Teresa Maynard, and Becca (Dan) Kempenich; and nephews Steven N. (Cindy), Trent (Kathy), Brad (Michelle), David (Mary Ann), and Matt, as well as multiple great, and great great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Rembs Celebration Center, 250 S. Oak Ave., Marshfield.
