Anna M. Wunrow, 90, formerly of Hewitt, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at A Touch of Home Assisted Living, Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hewitt with Rev. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will take place in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hewitt and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Anna was born on March 9, 1925 in Milladore to Joseph and Katherine (Vanek) Mancl and was a graduate of Auburndale High School. She was united in marriage to Ervin F. Wunrow on December 29, 1954 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore. He died on December 4, 1990.
Anna was employed at Roddis Plywood which later became Weyerhaeuser Corporation in Marshfield and was proud to be a part of the "Wisconsin Flying Trees" Exhibit. She was a lifetime member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and yahtzee, polkas and Lawrence Welk and making her famous cherry dessert for gatherings. Her prayer life was very important to her.
She is survived by her children, David (Jean) Wunrow of Marshfield, Robert (Jane) Wunrow of Auburndale, Lois (Lenny) Schreiner, and Susan (Mike) Bauer, all of Marshfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lindsay Wunrow, Greg Wunrow, Angel (John) Winkler, Jessica Sommers, Haley (Adam) Anderson, Logan Schreiner and Shane Bauer and great grandchildren, Nola and Grant Winkler. She is further survived by in-laws, Mike and Adeline Wunrow and Millie Wundrow.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Ervin, and brothers and sisters, Joe (Loretta) Mancl, George (Joyce) Mancl, Theresa (Orville) Weber, Catherine (Loyal) Sargent, Helen (Norman) Mask, Verna (Gene) Skibba, and Marie (John) DeBoer and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and their spouses, Oscar (Sarah) Wunrow, Norman (June) Wunrow, Lester (Irene) Wunrow, Rueben Wundrow, Millie (Richard) Baird (Geraldine), Anita (Rueben) Boehning and Gladys (Peter) Pankratz.
The family wishes to thank the staff's of Three Oaks, A Touch of Home and Ministry Hospice.
